Keezharkuth waterfalls, Idukki

It is not recommended to visit the waterfalls during the monsoon season as the ground is moist and swampy and chances of slipping are pretty high. September through month of May is the recommended time to make visit to the waterfalls.

How to Reach
There is state run bus service started from the traditional town of Thodupuzha and it would take the tourists directly to the Malayinchi. After the tourists reach Malayinchi, there is approximately 10 kms. oftrekking through the jungle. In case the tourist misses his/her bus to Malayinchi, the second best option will be to catch the bust traveling down to Udumbannoor. Once Udumbannoor is reached, tourists can take the remaining 3-4 kms. stretch to the Malayinchi either on trek or hire the jeep service which is quite regular.
